Enrollment Freeze for Gold Hill Elementary School
The Fort Mill School District Board of Trustees has extended the enrollment freeze for Gold Hill Elementary for the 2009-2010 school year.
Each elementary school is designed to hold approximately 900 students and the existing enrollment at Gold Hill is near capacity.
The new freeze will take effect on June 6 for new students who move into the attendance area on or after that date.  The district will provide shuttle bus transportation for affected students to Springfield Elementary.
The district does reserve the right to adjust the freeze as needed.

Welcome to Gold Hill Elementary School!
Gold Hill Elementary School is a kindergarten through fifth grade school located in one of the fastest growing school districts in South Carolina.  GHES is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
The school opened in 1994 with a strong tradition in education, taking its name from an academy that was the first school in the area.  Our school enrollment is reaching our building capacity; therefore, we currently have an enrollment freeze.  A link is provided to share information regarding our school enrollment freeze for the 2008-2009 school year.
